So, if you have a website then the odds are pretty good that you also use Google Analytics.
And if you do, then you might have seen some emails like these, telling you it’s time to update to GA4.
I ignored an email or two, but Google Analytics kept reminding me that this change was coming and that I needed to update.
I gave it a try – but quickly got frustrated, and so I reached out to two friends, Jade and Paul, for help.
They were kind enough to not only help get me updated to GA4, but they also recorded the entire thing to serve as a guide for anyone else navigating this change.

If you use SquareSpace and have multiple pixels, should we use the Tag manager or just put the Tracking ID into SquareSpace directly?
Hey Jim! Great Q. I brought your question right to the expert (Paul) and here’s what he said: YES, use Tag Manager! Regardless if you have 1 or 100 pixels for your site, Tag Manager is best. It is made to, well, manage all yours tags (pixels) in such a way that doesn’t compromise the integrity of your site speed. So when you eventually add more and more pixels, if put right on your site then that will make your site load more and more slowly, whereas Tag Manager will load and THEN fire all your fancy pixels for all your fancy trigger reasons.

After watching this, I began setting up Tag manager. While adding Tag Manager to my site, I saw my InfusionSoft Tracking Code. Could you add that to the Tag manager?
Is that considered another web tag in Tag Manager?
Yes, you can add Infusionsoft Tracking Script to Google Tag Manager.
